    I hear the Lord say:

I love you with an everlasting love. I’ve placed in you my love to abide and grow. I will water and tend what I’ve planted inside you. It will grow into a lovely vine for all to see.  It has scars on it where I healed you.  It has flowers on it where I blessed you. It will continue to grow and strengthen, bearing fruit to share with others. The vine will experience rain and sun, storms and clouds but it will not be separated from me. My everlasting sap will flow through you, bringing you life without fail. Our bond is secure. Our connection cannot be severed. My everlasting love will sustain you. There will be times of growth and times of rest. The weather and climate will change but my strength does not change. I am your source of life and repository of love.  Rely on me for all your needs. Flourish under your care by me. The vine will glorify the Father.

I am the vine; you are the branches.

Whoever abides in Me and I in him,

he it is that bears  much fruit, for

apart from me you can do nothing.

    I hear the Lord say:

Let your light so shine. I am more than enough. You don’t have to ‘do’ anything but receive. Be My vessel of love to others. Let Me take the reins. I’ll guide you and steer you.  I’ll take care and protect you.  I will give you all the supplies you need on the journey – you will be well-equipped.  By yourself, you are helpless and weak.  With Me, you are strong and courageous.  Empty yourself each morning and fill up with My grace, love, peace and kindness.  You have My authority as you speak My words. Kingdom power is at your disposal.  As a child of the King, you are precious and you have access to my treasures.  Follow My lead and encourage others within and outside of My kingdom.

Your hearts can soar with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light.

    My Psalm to the Lord:

The Lord speaks to me with love and compassion.

He opens my eyes to see and my ears to hear.

He puts a new song in my mouth.

His praises burst forth from my lips.

I bow before Him, worshiping My King and My God.

I shout His Name to all the earth – How great is my God!

Worthy of all praise and honor!

    Worship Him all you people.

Worship Him in spirit and truth.

Worship Him with your whole heart.

    He is Light and Truth.

    He is the Way.

All wisdom starts and ends with Him.

Sing a song of praise to the Almighty who reigns forever more!

    I hear the Lord say:

As you look to the blue sky, you feel hope and wonder for good days to come. When you see clouds, don’t expect lack or loss. Clouds are part of the sky. Not all clouds are bad. Some bring rain and refreshment, watering the earth, bringing life and sustenance. Some are protective, bringing relief from a scorching summer sun. Some bring storms and lightning. Clouds, like trials, are meant to draw you to Me – I am your strong blue sky, brilliant with Light.  There is always a blue sky beyond the clouds.  All things I do in your life are for your good – for protection, for relief, for growth, for life, for blessing.

    Clouds and thick darkness are all around him;

righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

    I hear the Lord say:

Lean on Me – I bring rest, peace, contentment, and security. My loving arms hold you fast. I offer all the desires of your heart. Lift up your face to the warmth of the sun – the sunlight is Me, radiating warmth and life to your soul. I am the Light of Life.  It is I who guide you. I illuminate your path clearly, and without shadows. Drink in all I have for you. My joy is complete in you.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,

“I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness,

but will have the light of life.”

    I hear the Lord say:

Dear one, let Me be a comfort to you in the stress of life. There are many things to be thankful for. Let your mind dwell on these. Family, friends, home, nature and ME. Be  mindful of Me and My overarching power and majesty. Instead of spinning your wheels on work duties that you can’t change, focus on abiding in Me. As you draw on my wisdom, I will help you accomplish all tasks efficiently and cheerfully.

Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world! Your world, your work, your chores, your health issues – I have overcome them all! Breathe in my peace and rest (stay) there.

Who is it that overcomes the world

except the one who believes that

Jesus is the Son of God?

    I hear the Lord say:

I am good. I am kind. I bring rest to your soul. Worry is like a rat gnawing on your bones – it is poison to your mind. Worry puts the focus on negative instead of focusing on Me. My life and light abide in you so there is no room for darkness.  Your work duties are stressful but keep leaning on Me. I am showing you how to accomplish all things without stress.  Let your mind be at peace. Recall the phrase “peace like a river”. Take me with you in the wooden boat on the river and glide through the water. I steer the boat. Feel the breeze on your face, melting the cares away. Only joy and peace remain. A boat ride has no destination – it is just enjoying time outside, marveling at my creation, spending time with Me, content in My presence. This is my gift to you – be content. All is well.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord,

    for he is good;

for his steadfast love endures forever!
