    • Moment by Moment

      I hear the Lord say:

      “Moment by moment” – this is to be your daily affirmation of how to abide in Me and therefore abide in My shalom peace. There is a battle going on for your attention and your outlook on life. The world will have you spinning in cycles of despair, worry, doubt and fear. As you know, My Son, Jesus, shared “I have overcome the world.” With this divine authority, you have overcome the world as well. You are a child of the King, My beloved daughter, My overcomer. You can and will walk in divine favor because you are cherished and treasured. My Word is filled with promises of strength and peace as you abide in Me. My strength is your strength. My peace is your peace. My victory is your victory. Be renewed day by day, moment by moment.

      “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV

    • Steady On

      I hear the Lord say:

      When life gets a bit ‘rocky’, and you feel like your boat is tipping or taking on water, remind yourself “God is with me.” When the path ahead has rocks, boulders, or mud to slow you down, say to yourself “God is with me.” When the walk through the valley seems fraught with hurdles and the way forward seems murky, tell yourself “God is with me.” When you worry, fret or doubt, bring to mind My promises in Scripture that reassure you of My love, compassion, companionship, guidance, wisdom and peace. These will bolster your spirits and give you the encouragement you need to keep moving forward. Keep walking, steady on. Life is a journey that will always have ‘ups and downs’ but you are never alone. Your destiny is assured as you join hands with Me. Emmanuel “God with us” is ever present.

      When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. Psalm 142:3 NIV

    • Waiting

      I hear the Lord say:

      I know waiting is hard. It is frustrating and sometimes frightening. Waiting for answered prayers, waiting for health news, waiting for life to become more ‘normal.’ I want to remind you “I am with you in the waiting.” Waiting is not hard for Me. I see the end from the beginning. I know of the good plans I have for you. I will strengthen you in the waiting. You must turn from past habits of worry and stress. Your renewed mind is equipped to see circumstances in a new light. You will see opportunities for spiritual growth and a new testimony to share. You can wait with anticipation of the fruit of your prayers. You can wait with joy.

      Lord , I wait for you; you will answer, Lord my God. Psalm 38:15 NIV

    • Comfort

      I hear the Lord say:

      Grieving lasts for the night; joy comes in the morning. The grief seems overwhelming but My love conquers all. The sorrow seems to overshadow you but My light overcomes the darkness. The sadness seems to engulf you but My loving kindness lifts you up. The tears will flow. Let them flow into My streams of living water. When you lift your head, you will bask in the light of My love. I will comfort you. I will stand with you. I will walk with you through the valley, showing you the path ahead.

      My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Psalm 119:28 NIV

    • Faithful

      I hear the Lord say:

      Keep this truth close to your heart “I am faithful.” This is a quality that you can count on from Me. My Word is proof of My faithfulness to humankind since the dawn of time. I am faithful to the people I created; I am faithful to YOU. As sure as the sun rises and sets, as sure as day turns to night, as sure as life itself, I am faithful. Because you can rely on Me, you can be at rest. I am faithful to guide you, to hold you, to comfort you, to correct you, to encourage you, to embolden you, to strengthen you. This solid-rock faithfulness is the Rock of Salvation, Jesus your Savior, God your Father, and Holy Spirit your comforter. There is nothing stronger.

      The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2 NIV

    • Persevere

      I hear the Lord say:

      In times of difficulty, challenge or disappointment, remember that I am at your side. When you feel discouraged, turn to Me for comfort and security. It is hard in the waiting, but a new dawn is coming. The low tide will be replaced with high tide. The ebb and flow of life is natural. Keep persevering in prayer and faith. Your breakthrough is coming. Lean into My presence for deeper and stronger faith. It is in the lean times that you need to maintain a tight connection to Me. It will fortify your mind and spirit to praise Me during these times.

      My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord , how long? Psalm 6:3 NIV

      Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:12 NIV

    • I am with you

      I hear the Lord say:

      I am with you. I am with you today and tomorrow. I am with you in the storm. I am with you in the fire. I am with you in the dry places. I am with you in the pain. I am with you. I am with you in the stillness of night, I am with you in the breaking of dawn. I am with you through your tears. I am with you in your joy. I am with you. I am with you in lack. I am with you in abundance. I am with you in the solitude. I am with you in the throngs. I am with you. I hold your hand through every trial. I whisper “I love you; you are my beloved.” You can rest. I am with you.

      So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV
