I hear the Lord say:
New vistas await you. At the moment, you may feel as if you are walking in circles or are stepping in gooey mud, but there is a beautiful view ahead if you keep persevering. The current situation is fleeting – temporary afflictions as Apostle Paul records – and will be soon forgotten when you arrive at the summit. The toil of the climb, the tree roots and rocks that impede your progress, the ever-upward path that takes a toll on your energy and motivation — all these things are part of the journey to the top. You have Me by your side on the mountain trail. I lend you My arm for support, My words for encouragement, and My joy to refresh your spirit. The view from the top is breathtaking! Keep going!
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 NIV
