Words & Whispers

I hear the Lord say:

You have physical eyes to see and physical ears to hear. But you also have spiritual senses. Seek to see with spiritual senses.  Seek to see with spiritual eyes and hear with spiritual ears. The heavenly realm is accessible with your spiritual senses. These are present within you but have been buried over time.  This treasure is ready to be uncovered!  Day by day, seek Me in the stillness.  Open your heart and mind to new possibilities. Let me lead you in our dance called Life.  Rhythms of grace gently pulse over you, a gentle wind, a symphony of sound, calling you – come in, come closer, come deeper, come higher…

I hear the Lord say:

My melody of love sings over you.  I bring fullness of joy into your mind and body.  It cascades over you like honey, pouring from head to toe, enveloping you in sweetness and goodness.  The honey is a balm to your emotional wounds.  The honey is healing to your bones.  The honey is a golden covering of My presence that makes you glow with loving kindness.  Lick your lips and taste its goodness.  Its sweet flavor is delightful and feeds your soul.  It gives you dunamis power to hear and follow Me and do My will.  Take this honey to others.  When they taste it, they will want more.  Their hunger will be satisfied with My Word, My Love, My acceptance, My forgiveness… and they will be content. My Word goes forth in power.  Nations will bow at My name.  Be My light to the nations, one person at a time.

I hear the Lord say:

Fix your eyes on the Son. He is your source of joy and peace. As a sunflower turns its face toward the sun and moves throughout the day to stay focused on the sun, so you are to keep your head/gaze fixed on Jesus.  Instead of getting distracted by events and trials around you, remain steadfastly focused on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.

Jesus is your hope and song. He is your deliverer. He is mighty to save! He is worthy of your trust and praise! His Holy Light casts out all shadows of doubt and fear.  Like a lighthouse, his beacon draws us near and keeps our paths straight and safe. He sees all and protects us from peril.

Storms rage but His steadfast love endures.  Love conquers all.

We look away from the natural realm

and we fasten our gaze on Jesus

who birthed faith within us

and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection.

I hear the Lord say:

You are my beloved. Don’t chastise yourself so much. Accept your weakness instead of apologizing for it.  Remember the apostle Paul shared that he boasted in his weaknesses so all things he accomplished pointed back to Me, his Savior.  (2 Cor. 11:30)

You were right to renew your focus on Me and offer yourself as a living vessel of My love. I will show you how to do this. I will bring to mind people to pray for, events to pray for, and words to share.

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. 2 Cor 11:30 ESV

But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you,

I hear the Lord say:

Dear one, I am teaching you day by day of My wisdom. Be patient. It’s not going to be downloaded like a computer. It will come in time as you continue to seek My face and listen to My voice. You are listening more and better each day.  Your desire for a deeper walk with Me will be fulfilled.  Stay in My will and keep seeking.  Never be satisfied with today.  Just as your human body hungers and thirsts, so continue to hunger and thirst for more of Me.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”   John 6:35 ESV

I hear the Lord say:

I am the Light of the World. Let your light shine so others can share in My Goodness.  Put all your cares in My Hands; from the greatest to the least. Let Me take care of all of them.  No concern is too trivial for Me.  I know your thoughts before you think them.  So start every day in surrender to My will, in union with My authority and in confidence of My Sovereignty.  Daily die to self; daily pick up your cross and follow Me. Lean on Me for wisdom, insight and guidance. Put Me first and watch how your day unfolds, in appreciation and thankfulness!

I have come into the world as light,

so that whoever believes in me

may not remain in darkness.

I hear the Lord say:

I am the vine. You are a branch. You and I are securely connected. You receive full health and strength from My vine. Apart from Me, you can do nothing. As you grow in strength and vitality, you will put forth blossoms and fruit for others to see and taste. On your own, you can do nothing. Let Me feed and nourish you daily. Let Me shoulder your burdens and cares. Open up your whole being to My power and strength. I will infuse you with creativity, insight, wisdom, compassion and love. Your blossoms will be lovely and appealing. Others will be drawn to Me through you. Let Me lead the way.

Abide in Me, and I in you.

As a branch cannot bear fruit by itself,

unless it abides in the vine, neither can you,

unless you abide in Me.
