    I hear the Lord say:

When the enemy attacks you, he attacks your mind. He wants your past to haunt you and he wants your future to frighten you.  He wants to plant seeds of doubt and water them into weeds that tangle your mind. Then you are confused and trapped in the underbrush. The briers catch your legs and scratch you. The vines of deceit entangle you.

Take my sword, my machete of truth, and hack away at the web of lies and false accusations. My sword slices through the brush, severing all deceptions to the ground.  Take the weeds and choking vines and cast them into the fire. They are destroyed and vanquished!! Your mind is free to focus on Me… My victory, My strength, My purpose and your destiny.  You are more than a conqueror. Your strength is regained as you seek Me, find Me and rely on Me. My shield and sword remain in your hands, to wield at will. Keep alert for the enemy seeks to return. Keep your guard up. I am your strong tower. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I am mighty to save.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil

prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

    A prayer to the Lord:

In the morning,  Lord, I lift up my hands to you in honor and praise,

giving thanks for my blessings and waiting on your Word.

    Guide my steps today, Lord.

Let my words and encounters be heaven ordained

and a reflection of Your love and goodness.

Keep my eyes and ears open to Your agenda.

Let me radiate peace and happiness to all those around me.

Let joy be on my lips at all times.

Let me see others with Your eyes of love and compassion.

Let me be open to changing my agenda with Your prompting.

Let me Live, Love and Learn through You.

Beloved, let us love one another,
    for love is from God,
and whoever loves has been born of God
    and knows God.

    I hear the Lord say:

Take a breath. Relax your mind. Your to-do list can wait. Right now, savor your time with Me. The time you spend with Me will pay dividends today, tomorrow and beyond. Think of time with Me as an investment. Your future spiritual, emotional and physical health require time, energy and dedicated effort. Nothing valuable or noteworthy comes easily. Although your salvation experience is one time and lasting, your spiritual maturity takes time and effort.

Let Me guide you to deeper truths and trust, to greater wisdom and application, and to unshakable hope.

This is what I have for you – dive in!

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all

without reproach, and it will be given him.  James 1:5   ESV

    I hear the Lord say:

I work all things for good. I desire to bless you and bring you closer to My side. Always choose to seek Me first. I’m your constant companion and available for advice and counsel.  Continue to seek Me. There is supernatural wisdom available but you must slow down, focus, and wait for an answer.  Your own thoughts sometimes crowd out My thoughts. Call on My name and I will answer.

The Lord is near to all who call on Him,

to all who call on Him in truth.

    Psalm 145:18 ESV

    I hear the Lord say:

There is a girl who wants to please her father very much. She keeps trying and is almost striving, to learn more, to understand more, to read more, to explore more. She is on safari and is hacking away at jungle vines to clear a path ahead. She is sweating and slapping at annoying flies and mosquitoes. She believes this is her lot in life but she’s wrong. She hears the sound of wind chimes and puts down her machete. She turns to see a clearing ahead. There is a path laid out in front of her. She follows the sound of singing and sees that her path is not burdensome but open and airy, and leads to a beautifully tended garden and a gazebo. There is a place to rest, to meet the Lord, to relax and spend time in His presence.  A cool breeze fans her face. She sees Jesus in the gazebo and He beckons to her.  She joyfully joins Him in a comfortable chair and takes a sip of refreshing iced tea. “Ah” she exclaims, “it’s perfect.” Her mind and body relax in the presence of her Savior and Brother. She feels accepted and loved. Her focus is on the One who is her Lord and King.  He smiles and they laugh together. She takes in the beauty around her. The flowers and birds are bright and cheery. A melody of love permeates the garden. The girl feels joy bubbling up inside her. Contentment fills her soul.  “This is the life,” she thinks. “This is the abundant life that Christ has for me. This is where I belong.”

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.  Psalm 25:4 ESV

There is no health diagnosis that I cannot handle or that is too hard for you to handle. Although your spirit may sink at bad news, remind yourself that you serve a mighty God and that all things are possible.  Healing and wholeness are aspects of My heavenly nature.

Be brave, stand firm in hope and conviction, that I am always at your side. Let Me offer My reassurance that all things work together for your good. Remember My promises and how I have cared for and blessed you in the past. That is my “M – O” (modus operandi)- blessing, healing, hope, joy, peace. All events – good and bad, blessings and trials, are in My hands.  My hands protect. My hands bless. My hands provide. Walk hand in hand with Me.  Today is another glorious day – a day to grow, a day to reflect, a day to bless others, and a day to cherish your life in Me.

If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

    I hear the Lord say:

I offer My peace to you in all circumstances.

I see your offerings of praise and hear your cries for help.

    You matter to Me.

    Your happiness matters to Me.

But your happiness should not depend on your current circumstances.

Your happiness is a reflection of My ever-present goodness and loving-kindness.

My abiding presence is your source of happiness.

    Dwell there.

Unending wealth and glory come to those who discover where I dwell.
The riches of righteousness and a long, satisfying life will be given to them.
    Proverbs 8:18 TPT
