    I hear the Lord say:

    Come dance with me, my dearest child! The music beckons! Cast off the weight of the world, put on your best dress, adorn your hair; it’s a celebration! I eagerly await your presence. Like the bridegroom eager to see his bride, I cherish every moment with you. As I draw you near, we dance in rhythm to the music. We twirl and swirl!  It’s a beautiful time of fellowship. Love and laughter peal through the room. You only have eyes for me. Unspeakable joy radiates from you. This is how I love my children and enjoy their presence.  Come away with me!

    Praise him with tambourine and dance;

    praise him with strings and pipe!

    Psalm 150:4  ESV

    I hear the Lord say:

    Let Me be your guiding light, your joy, your energy, and your spokesperson today. Let your mind, body and spirit stay connected with Me all day.  It will be new to consider abiding when your mind is consumed with work duties. But this is how it happens. I am present in your unconscious mind. You don’t have to consciously think of Me or pray. Consider Me the current that gives you energy, movement, breath, words and decisions.  I am the power source. I am present in every molecule in your body. I will lead if you will follow.  Recall the Good Shepherd – he protects and guides his sheep.  He brings them to green pastures. He finds them fresh water. He protects them from predators. He goes after the one that gets lost and brings it back to the field.

    Ever watchful, ever faithful, is the Shepherd.

    I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

    just as the Father knows me and I know the Father;

    and I lay down my life for the sheep.

    I hear the Lord say:

    This morning is a new chapter. You feel invigorated  from reading past journal entries and seeing how I encouraged and loved you as you wrestled with life’s demands. It has re-kindled your faith in Me. This is why daily devotions are so important. It is so easy to forget! This is why I said to write my laws on the tablet of your heart. You must dwell on My Goodness day and night. Then you will have success; then you will prosper. My Word does not return void. Soak Me up; Drink Me in. Breathe in My Living Word. It brings life and healing. Bask in the warmth of my eternal love. Nothing can separate us. You are mine forever.

    “His steadfast love endures forever.”

    I hear the Lord say:

    The key is to be mindful of Me all day. When your eyes veer to dwell on current circumstances and obstacles, they lose focus on My omnipotence and purposes. Every day will have moments of stress, challenges, deadlines, responsibilities, at home and work, and relationship stressors. None of these bother Me.  All of these are overcome in gladness and joy as you seek My presence amidst them. All can be accomplished but only with My strength in you. On your own, you fret, stress, and spin your wheels.  Let go and let Me. Take a new approach. Ask Me first each day about your schedule. My insight is invaluable. My guidance will smooth out the wrinkles of your day.

    Seek the Lord and his strength;

    seek his presence continually!

    I hear the Lord say:

    Life is unpredictable but I am not. I offer peace and calm in a turbulent world.  It is supernatural peace, divine peace, lasting peace. It is only available as you commune with Me.  Nothing on earth can give you such peace. Nothing on earth satisfies like My peace. I give rest with My peace. The rest you crave, the rest you seek, is yours for the asking. Abide in Me, my child. Let My peace wash over you.  Leave your troubles behind. Sweet, sweet peace awaits you each morning and each night. Sweet peace lives inside you and can manifest in your thoughts, words and actions as you abide in Me.

    Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden,

    and I will give you rest.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Lift up your eyes and focus on My Glory. All is not lost. Your heavy heart is a result of focusing on earthly events and circumstances. When you look up, you’ll see HOPE.  Seeing HOPE will restore your joy and flood you with peace. Seeing HOPE gives you courage to march on. Embracing HOPE will give you the sense of security in today and tomorrow that you want so badly. Cling to HOPE.  Cling to My Word. Cling to My Promises.  Then Rest.  Rest in Me. Only with My peace can you experience joy and gladness. Depression is from the enemy. Negative expectations are from the enemy. Cast off the shackles of depression, doom and despair and be free in Me, Christ your Savior. Ask my Holy Spirit to rise up inside you and fill your being with praise. Praise Me with your heart and lips and evil will flee.  Sing a song of gladness until your mind and emotions are renewed.

    Sing praises to God, sing praises!

    Sing praises to our King, sing praises!

    I hear the Lord say:

    I understand and care about you. The trials of today are only for today. Continue hoping day by day, watching Me bring restoration and healing. New mercies every morning are there to bring you hope for that day – hope for new revelations, new insights, new growth. Hope for healing – it may be slow but slow is not bad. Rest – rest is good.  Let me be your cheerleader. I am the encourager, your Spirit-guide.  I offer calm and serenity in a troubled world.

    Remember my Word: Peace I leave  you – not as the world gives, but my perfect peace. (John 14:27) Perfect peace – peace from above, peace that encompasses all, surrounds all, envelopes all, permeates all. Peace that soothes the troubled soul. Peace that pervades. Peace amidst the storms. Peace that reflects the utmost trust in your Father God. Peace that is contagious.  Peace that blots out all argument or human reason. Peace that sees My hand in all events. Peace that brings rest, contentment, and joy.  Peace that puts others first. Peace that is yours for the asking.

    I have said these things to you, that in me you may have

    peace. In the world you will have tribulation.

    But take heart; I have overcome the world.
