    I hear the Lord say:

I give all My gifts freely to all My children. I keep My palm open at all times. I desire My children to have abundant blessings to overflow. Gifts are part of Holy Spirit infusion. They require time, training and dedication. Some training is hands-on. You will make mistakes, but just learn from them and continue on. Don’t try to force anything; let my Holy Spirit breathe on you. Consider yourself a vessel, carrying the Spirit of the Lord. Your words and deeds are a reflection of My love. Be attentive and alert. I will give you opportunities to be a blessing.

But you, Timothy… are to be a pure container of Christ
and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master,
prepared for every good work that He gives you to do.

    I hear the Lord say:

As you look up to the sky, you see trees, birds, and clouds.  I see you and I see beyond what you see. I see forward to tomorrow, to next month, to next year. I see days and centuries in the same moment.

In my infinite omniscience, I see you inside and out. And I love what I see. I see a daughter eager to know more of Me. I see your future, bright with  promise.

Recall the C.S. Lewis quote “You are never too old to dream a new dream.” Don’t consider your age but look forward to another day with Me… and another. As we walk together,  I’ll share more wisdom and knowledge with you. There’s a new adventure waiting. There are new doors opening.  I invite you in!

For then you will perceive what is true wisdom,
    your future will be bright,
and this hope living within will never disappoint you.

    I hear the Lord say:

Daughter, I hover over you as a Glory Cloud. I shield you from too much sun but allow gentle rays of sunshine to penetrate in order for you to feel the warmth of My love. My Glory Cloud is not grey or dark, but a white, shimmering cloud filled with supernatural ribbons of grace, love, peace and joy. The ribbons dance over you through the day. You are protected from the storms of life and complete all your tasks with joy and purpose. My joy is ever-present.

And the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the house,
and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the
brightness of the glory of the Lord.

    I hear the Lord say:

I love you with an everlasting love. There are many distractions in life that pull you away from My presence.  Remember I AM present in all things: all events and circumstances that surprise you don’t surprise Me. I hold all events in My hands. Each day, recount and proclaim the goodness of the Lord.  Keep in the forefront of your mind that I stand beside you every moment. Our journey is one of love, laughter, adventure, trials, suffering and comforting.

I weep when you weep.  I rejoice when you rejoice. You have seen trials draw you closer to Me. As a carver planes a wooden beam to smooth it out, removing splinters and imperfections, I gently sand away your rough edges. The sandpaper may feel unpleasant but it’s temporary and it’s necessary. A beautiful carving is in the making… one that reflects My glory.

    Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low;
    the crooked shall become straight,
and the rough places shall become level ways,
and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Studying Psalm 51, Hebrew word for ‘lovingkindness’ is  “chesed.” I hear the Lord say:

Many are My loving thoughts toward you. My lovingkindness, my ‘chesed’ extends to all My children. Each one is special and unique to Me. Each one is cherished and adored. As you study Psalm 51, you see how David recognizes how deeply I love him and Israel and am merciful to him despite his severe transgressions.  I am so merciful that I sent My beloved Son to die in your place. All transgressions were blotted out because of my ‘chesed’ – my persistent, unfailing love bond for My children.  My covenant extends to all believers. I welcome them with open arms.

Grasp how deep, how wide and how long is this love of Mine. When John wrote, “God is love”, this is what he was describing.

For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
    Praise the Lord!

    I hear the Lord say:

Fear is tied to worry, doubt and dread. Fear is the root cause of all negative thinking. You recall I said “Cast off fear” and “Fear not.” Recall how I care more for you than the sparrow. Recall how precious you are to Me. Would a loving Father not care for his precious daughter? In fact, He would do everything in His power to protect her, care for her, and bless her. In My great love for you, I sacrificed My one and only Son for your life to be spared. My love is deeper and greater than any love on earth.

You can be confident in this love and therefore do not need to fear anything. “Perfect love casts out fear” (I John 4:18). Let My perfect love keep you in peace and harmony as you abide in Me.

…for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

    I hear the Lord say:

As you bestow blessing and honor to Me, I will guide your steps and teach you My commands. You desire to abide in Me and I desire to abide deeper in you. Like a deep well whose depths cannot be measured, I have abundant living water to satisfy you, to refresh you, to bless you.  My Living Water is My Holy Spirit who gives to all with generosity and abundance. Let this living water keep you near My well – don’t stray far from it. It is your source of life, your source of joy and your source of sustenance.

…but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
