Words & Whispers

I hear the Lord say:

Don’t worry about your future and how you will respond to crises. Let each day come. Rejoice in each day, knowing that I am with you. I can speak to you in all circumstances. Fear and worry can block or hinder you from hearing Me. As you abide and trust, let Me guide and advise.

Trust in the Lord completely,

and do not rely on your own opinions.

With all your heart rely on Him to guide you,

and He will lead you in every decision you make.

I hear the Lord say:

Let My Holy Spirit be the glue that bonds us together. As Father, Son and Spirit are one – you are one with Us through Holy Spirit connection. Like ‘super glue’, our bond cannot be broken. Let this image be ingrained in your mind. When I say “Nothing can separate us,” I mean it. The measure of My bond is displayed in the depth of My love for you – that I offered My Son to die in your place. Because Jesus conquered sin and death, you have a new life and a secure place in My heavenly kingdom. 

Once bonded, forever united. You are bound and free at the same time. United with Me in purpose and free from the shackles of sin. Like Paul, a bond servant of Christ, free from sin and death, freely yoked to your Savior. 

But now that you have been set free from sin

and have become slaves of God,

the fruit you get leads to sanctification

and its end, eternal life.

I hear the Lord say:

Remain diligent and steadfast in quiet times with Me. Problems look bigger when you lose contact with Me. I am here, but for you to sense Me, you must activate your faith. Let My Word minister to you. Let Me wash you, refresh you, renew you, restore you… ‘that your joy may be full.”

These things I have spoken to you,

that my joy may be in you,

and that your joy may be full.”

I hear the Lord say:

The world may appear in chaos but it is not lost. I am the light and My children are the sons and daughters of the light. (John 12:36).

Light dispels darkness. I have overcome it. Pray for workers to be sent into the harvest.

Be a light bearer every day.  Shine the light of love on all you meet.

“While you have the light,

put your trust in the light,

that you may become people of light.”

I hear the Lord say:

To all who seek Me with a sincere heart, who open the door when I knock, I will come in and reveal Myself to them.

You have opened the door to life and truth.  But not all is revealed. There is always more. You desire greater intimacy. This involves purpose and pursuit.  Pursue Me with purposeful intent. I will fulfill the desires of your heart.

Your desire is to abide in Me.  I desire this for us.  As you abide, greater trust will grow. As it grows in strength, it will not be shaken by adverse circumstances. You will see events as opportunities to show My glory.

Peace and calm will rule and reign in your heart. My steadfast love will ground you and strengthen you.

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness.

I hear the Lord say:

As morning dew glistens on the lawn, as morning sunbeams shine through the trees, as birds flock to your yard, see all that I have for you. The joy of My creation is meant to bring you joy as well. Let Me gladden your heart with morning sights and sounds. Let the sound of bird calls remind you to seek Me in the morning and throughout the day. As I care for the birds, I more intensely care for you.

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,

that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

I hear the Lord say:

Follow Me –  all you have to do is follow Me.  You don’t have to come up with any plan. I have the plans laid out already. Recall Jeremiah 29:11 ( I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord, they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope).

Remember to take one day at a time. Today has enough troubles. Leave tomorrow in My capable hands. Be content. Discover new things about Me as you read Scripture, worship and reflect.  This new day will be a confirmation of My love for you.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,

“I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness,

but will have the light of life.”
