    I hear the Lord say:

Let your mind be at peace.

My daily Word is your portion.

Feed on it, chew on it, ponder it. Let it settle in your soul.

As Emily Freeman says “Do the next right thing.”

Trust Me to move, to guide, to remind, to nudge.

Let Me be your Confidante, your Savior, your Friend.

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who believes [in Me as Savior —
whoever adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me–already]
has eternal life [that is, now possesses it].
I am the Bread of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life].

    I hear the Lord say:

Let go. Let go of condemnation. Let go of fear. Submit your thoughts to My purging and cleansing. Fall on your knees in humble adoration. Let the healing rain cascade over you. Let it soak you to the skin and remove all spot and blemish. Let your salty tears fall and mingle with My Holy Spirit shower.  Holy Spirit washes all away. Let the warmth of the sun dry you.

You stand up tall, renewed in body, mind and spirit, to go forth in victory and power. Let Me be your guiding light, your commander-in-chief, your front and rear guard, as we drive the enemy from our midst.  Your deeds will be victorious because I am with you!

“…And now why do you wait?

Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins,

    calling on His name.”

    I hear the Lord say:

Come and see. Come and sit. Come and learn. Come to be loved. Come to be satisfied. Follow Me; walk beside Me. Do what I do.  Feed the hungry, care for the sick, visit widows and orphans, share My love. Many thirst for love.  They receive My love through the mercy bestowed by My children.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’”

    I hear the Lord say:

Like the construction in your neighborhood, you are under construction. A new habit and a new mindset take time and perseverance. Your spiritual journey involves digging, building, and supporting this new mindset. It requires maintenance and renovation as time goes on. The new pathways being constructed in your mind are like new roads being paved as you trust in Me. Your renewed mind sees Me in all circumstances and abides in peace. Traveling on these roads daily will form a path that will allow your first thought to be of trust. Your former negative thought pathways have a ‘road closed ahead’ sign. Put on your hard hat! Road work ahead...Let’s build together!

Let me know Your ways, O Lord,

    teach me Your paths.

Guide me in Your truth and teach me.

    For you are the God of my salvation;

For you, and only You I wait expectantly all the day long.

    I hear the Lord say:

As I prepared Joshua for battle, with might and armor, so I prepare you for the coming days. When the world events look dire, recall that I am in control. Your Sovereign God brings all things to fulfillment.  The land of milk and honey awaits.  I have an eternal reward for those who seek Me and follow Me. Look to Me and hear “well done, good and faithful servant.”

Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant,

so that those who are called may receive

    the promised eternal inheritance…

    Hebrews 9:15 ESV

    I hear the Lord say:

Recall that you are to store up treasures in heaven. Let Me give you wisdom and reassure you that money in the bank is not your security. All earthly things are transient and unreliable. Only My love and mercy and provision are eternal and constant.

Your eternal future is of more importance than earthly possessions. In Matthew, chapter 6, Jesus said “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.”

Everything that you have owned has faded, broken, rusted, worn out or lost its appeal. Enjoy what you have but don’t hold it in high esteem or despise it because it is old or not the latest fashion. Enjoy what you have and see it as a blessing.  Focus on your continual spiritual growth. Abide in Me. Focus on Me.  Honor Me. Worship Me.

Cause my heart to bow before your words of wisdom

and not to the wealth of this world.

    I hear the Lord say:

I inhabit the praises of my people. Songs of praise, works of art, poems and verse; all these things are instruments of praise.  The potter’s hand, the artist’s brush, the jeweler’s design, the architect’s plans, the seamstress’s stitches, the musician’s notes – all reflect the creativity of the Lord expressed in joy.  The gift of creativity starts in childhood.  A child finds joy in an ant, a leaf, a flower, a snowflake…. exploring, climbing, laughing and singing. A child holds nothing back: 100% joy and amazement at miracles in the earth and sky. Adults can lose this joy. A child-like faith consists of total trust and total surrender. A child of God needs only to acknowledge the sovereignty of God and trust that God knows best.  A child of God is fearless and lives life one day at a time, knowing her future is secure in the Lord.

Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well:

Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable,

and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child,

you will never be able to enter in.”
