Words & Whispers

I hear the Lord say:

As your mentor and guide, who abides in  you, let Me increase as you decrease. Let My dunamis power strike a match in your soul so you explode in supernatural power and authority. Let My words (in Scripture and in journaling) become your daily declaration of victory over all events. 

Each night at bedtime and each morning upon awakening, declare the truth of the Word and its holy indwelling.

This daily act will fortify your mind and emotions to resist negative thinking, doubt and depression. My Words are healing and restorative. My truth is active and alive.

Life begets life. Joy begets joy. Let Me increase and multiply in and through you.

He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.

I hear the Lord say:

You hear the verse “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”  Your strength will come from reliance on Me.  Life can pull you down. Life events can make you weak. Human minds, on their own, cannot sustain trust and strength against adversity.  Only when calling upon the Lord can you receive strength.  My Words speak life and truth.

You are learning that control is not to be sought; it is unable to be grasped. It is to be surrendered. Releasing control allows joy to enter.  I flood your heart and mind with joy. My joy is real joy. A deep abiding joy that settles in a comfy place in your heart.

Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord,

in union with his mighty strength.

I hear the Lord say:

Morning and mourning – day and night- the cycle of life. My presence and comfort are with you in the morning and in the evening, in the day and in the night. In the depths of your soul is both joy and sorrow. The depth of My love for you exceeds the depth of your emotions. Your sorrow is not too deep for Me to heal. Your grief is not too low for Me to raise you up. My arms are ever stretched out – to comfort, to hold and to console. Run, run into My arms and weep. Let the tears fall; let your sorrows stream out…. then breathe…. breathe again. Look up at My face.  See My tears. See My sorrow for your sorrow. See Me wipe your tears away. I brush your hair from your eyes. I caress your head and face. You feel safe in My arms. You understand My comfort will heal your heart. And stay… stay here with Me.   Rest… rest here with Me. Breathe… breathe here with Me.

You hear the sound of wind chimes. You remember the joy and feel the breeze.  Holy Spirit blows on you. You are enraptured by His presence, enveloped and transformed.

Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance,

and the young men and the old shall be merry.

I will turn their mourning into joy;

I will comfort them, 

and give them gladness for sorrow.

I hear the Lord say:

As water satisfies your thirst, so My Word satisfies your soul. Let My Word be your food and drink. Chew and meditate on Scripture. Let My Living Truth fill and satisfy you to overflowing. Comfort and Joy are pillars of health and strength. My strength and song revives you and builds you up so you are equipped for each new day.

Declare over yourself – mind, body, spirit, that you are the Lord’s and nothing can stand against you!

Now may the God of peace…equip you with everything good

that you may do his will… through Jesus Christ,

to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

I hear the Lord say:

As the magi followed the holy star in the sky to Bethlehem, so you too are to follow My Holy Light.  In the darkness around you, I shine this Light as a beacon and a guide. It is My Light of love that shines in the darkness.  You are to keep your eyes on Me. The darkness is only a backdrop. It has no hold on you.  The magi were amazed and in awe. This celestial superstar led them to My son as a baby. His birth, humble and lowly, was celebrated in heaven by hundreds of heavenly hosts and My unique star. That star, so telling, like fireworks, is creation celebrating My marvelous plan for you. Come, adore My son on reverent knee.  Bow before Him, as the magi, bringing gifts to honor and bless Him.  My son, of one mind with Me, was sent to earth to fulfill prophecies of old, to set the captives free, to bring good news to all mankind. Follow, follow, follow Him.

saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

I hear the Lord say:

My Scripture is Life and Truth. It is a gold mine full of nuggets to be uncovered. The vein of gold is the thread of My Love to follow from creation to present, running deep and true. Continue searching, exploring and digging.  Seek truth; desire it more than anything else.

New treasures await!

..if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,

if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,

then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

I hear the Lord say:

Holy Spirit abides in you. As you increase your time with Me, in Scripture reading, in prayer, in meditation, in worship, I will increase in presence and power. As Samuel was devoted to Eli, heeding his call day and night, so you stay alert to hear My voice and obey it.

There are plenty of distractions. Be mindful of your choice each hour Have a purpose in  mind for each task. Whether prayer and meditation, exercise, working, or cleaning, all can be done with My Spirit abiding in you.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,

do all to the glory of God.
