    I am with you

    I hear the Lord say:

    I am with you. I am with you today and tomorrow. I am with you in the storm. I am with you in the fire. I am with you in the dry places. I am with you in the pain. I am with you. I am with you in the stillness of night, I am with you in the breaking of dawn. I am with you through your tears. I am with you in your joy. I am with you. I am with you in lack. I am with you in abundance. I am with you in the solitude. I am with you in the throngs. I am with you. I hold your hand through every trial. I whisper “I love you; you are my beloved.” You can rest. I am with you.

    So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV

      I am particularly struck by the photo of the flowering branch – the beauty, the tenacity. A lot like God, bringing new life with the change of the seasons. And, of course, the words are perfect.
