    I hear the Lord say:

    In this day and age, it is easy to be distracted or overwhelmed. When I call you to focus your thoughts on what is ‘true, noble, righteous, pure, lovable or admirable” and on something “praiseworthy”, it is for your benefit. The duties and demands of each day can lead you into thoughts or actions that are not helpful or constructive. Focusing on the truth of My word, the righteousness of Christ, the purity of My love, the nobleness of My Son’s sacrifice will keep you grounded in love and unity with Me, your Heavenly Father. Taking time to appreciate and offer praise each day can include admiring a field of sunflowers, listening to a bird singing nearby, joining in a child’s laughter, gazing from the porch during a summer rain, reading an encouraging note from a friend, appreciating a whisper from your loving Father (Me) “I love you so much”; these things and more will both calm and thrill your heart. To be surrounded by evidence of My love for you will keep you focused on what is important, trustworthy and timely. Each day brings you closer in union with Me as you meditate on My virtues and our unbreakable bond.

    Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 NIV

    I hear the Lord say:

    Today’s trials are not forever. Each day has moments of joy and pain. Bring to mind the goodness that I am. I embody all that is good; all that is good for you and your well-being. Life on earth has mountains and valleys. The journey is full of unknown adventures and obstacles, with some required effort and discipline. It is not a matter of self-effort but one of abiding with Me. Traveling up a mountain is arduous but the view from the top is priceless! I am your Helper, Comforter and Shield-Bearer. I will accompany you through mountain passes and refresh you in green, lush valleys. We will stop to relax near bubbling streams. Rest is important. Little steps are steps forward. Lean on Me.

    And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:10 NIV

    I hear the Lord say:

    Looking ahead, into the blue sky, like this little bird, on top of the world, dream of a great future ahead. Keep your eyes looking up, focusing on My ever present love and compassion, being receptive to Spirit-inspired dreams and ideas. New innovations and thoughts will come to you as you bring Kingdom principles to life. Thoughts and ideas will blossom for daily activities, responsibilities, church and community partnering, time management and relationship building. My Spirit has a divine hand in all areas of your life. The future is full of possibilities. There is more to expect, more to explore and more to embrace. Keep looking up.

    But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Isn’t it fun to watch the goldfinches feast on sunflower seeds? It’s wonderful to see their yellow and black feathered bodies fly back and forth, landing on stems and gobbling up the bounty. I want you to remember that as you see Me provide for the birds of the air, that I will provide for you even more richly. You will not lack any good thing. My storehouse is overflowing with treasures. You have access to it all as my precious daughter. Come and feast. Dine on plenty. Your cup is full to overflow. Peace, joy, mercy, grace, provision, safety… these are your treasures. My promises are ‘yes’ and ‘amen.’ Take one day at a time, and bask in the glow of your heavenly Father’s love. This love I give you, I give you freely, without limitations. As I cast your sins as far as the east is from the west, My love for you extends into the infinite universe. Think of My love as an ever-expanding balloon that will never pop. My love cannot be contained. Deeper than the ocean, higher than the mountains, brighter than the sun, is My love for you.

    Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? “

    I hear the Lord say:

    As the water lily rises from the pond, to showcase a bloom of exceptional beauty, so I want you to showcase your beauty within. Baptized in water, receiving daily sustenance from My Holy Spirit, you grow and stretch to your full potential. Your gifts and abilities are strengthened and enhanced by abiding in My presence, acknowledging the need for Spirit-filled guidance and wisdom. As you follow the path of light and life that I offer, you fulfill your purpose and calling. You will be encouraged and satisfied with My promises of wholeness, abundance, love, joy, peace and contentment.

    Commit to the Lord whatever you do,

    and he will establish your plans.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Freedom! This word may evoke thoughts of a rally cry, a call for justice, or a march for independence. But I offer freedom of a different sort: freedom for your mind, soul and spirit. Freedom from the yoke of slavery to sin and despair. Release from the consequences of sin and death. I give you Life and give it in abundance. I, Jesus, your Savior and Redeemer, have set you free by My obedience on the Cross. I died and rose again, so you could live in freedom, and learn to walk in My ways. It is a high calling to live free: released from the shackles of the past, free from the bondage of doubt and fear, set free from the hopelessness that permeates worldly thinking. Be free in Me; be free to be all I have called you to be. Be assured that I am Your Freedom.

    It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 NIV

    I hear the Lord say:

    Like a cheerful flower smiling brightly in the spring, I welcome you with the radiance of the sun. As your loving heavenly Father, I make you a homemade daisy chain for a necklace and tiara. You are so special to Me, my daughter! I love to make you smile; I love to hear you laugh. I delight in the uniqueness of you. You are one of a kind. You make My heart sing! Be filled with My radiant love today. Be overwhelmed with My loving-kindness. Be confident in your value and worth in My eyes.
