    I hear the Lord say:

    You have pondered what it means to ‘go deeper’ in your spiritual walk. You are a goal setter and look to accomplishments. I have a different suggestion for you. Learn to rest in Me. Turn off the distractions, avoid a Christian ‘to do’ list, and dive deeper into My Word and My worship. Study My character, experience the rest and peace that comes with My love. The abiding life is the abundant life. Abundance has nothing to do with possessions on earth. You recall I said that moth and rust destroy these items.  Abundant living is peaceful living – living in the knowledge that trust in Me is all you need. That simple act of faith – trust – will carry you through highs and lows and will allow peace and calm to rule and reign in your heart. Let ‘abiding’ remain your goal. As you abide, you seek new revelation and insight. You seek it and will receive it. Abiding causes your heart and mind to ‘sync’ with My heart strings to a perfect pitch and heavenly melody. It will be a song of songs, a heart bursting with the goodness of My love. Like a harp’s soothing, stirring gentle melody, it reaches the deepest part of your soul; a stirring so deep, it forges a bond that cannot be broken.

    “Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; to the Lord I will sing; I will make melody to the Lord, the God of Israel.

    Judges 5:3  ESV

    I hear the Lord say:

    I fill your heart and mind with peace. I assure you of a good end. I hear  your prayers. They are rising and filling My bowl of supplication. Soon the bowl will tip over and My glory will pour forth. You will see prayers answered, miracles occur, healing to mind and body, chains removed, evil spirits cast down and freedom declared! Victory is Mine, says the Lord. All that I promise is coming to pass.

    When he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down in front of the Lamb. Each one held a harp, and gold bowls filled with pieces of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people; and they sang a new song,

    “You are worthy….”   Revelation 5:8-9  CJV

    I hear the Lord say:

    I am the Master of Time. I am not subject to the limitations or confines of time. I don’t weary or need rest. I have no deadlines or due dates. I don’t waste time or fritter it away. I don’t spend time worrying or waiting. In My sovereignty, I rule the heavens and the earth. I created time for you. For my children, I created sunrise and sunset. I created seasons, to enjoy seed time and harvest, to work and to rest, to labor and to sleep, to learn and to grow. I created time for your benefit. It’s not meant to be a stressor. Time allows opportunities. Time to commune with Me, time to share My love of people and of nature, time to reflect, to study, to pray, to work. All these things can be done with Me at your side.

    Begin your day with statements of affirmation and a positive outlook on the day you’ve been given. You will discover new joy as you think this way.

    For everything there is  a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

    I hear the Lord say:

    My Word is a lamp to your feet, a light to your eyes, an orchestra to your ears. It’s My heart calling out to your heart. Deep calls to deep. Deep calls to deeper still. There is always more – more love, more joy, more peace, more connection, more revelation. Invite the more. Embrace the more. Pursue the more. More of Me, More about Me, More in Me.

    As the grafted vine, you are a part of Me, connected with life giving sap. A Holy lifeline connects the two of us. Together, we will not be shaken. Your strength is rooted in My firm foundation. Joined with Me, we will weather the storms together and stand in victory.

    Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Lean in. Lean in further, lean in deeper. Tune out the distractions of life; listen to My still, small voice. When people whisper, others tune in more deeply. My words and whispers are freely given.

    The way you counsel and correct me makes me praise you more,

    for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Hope – it’s a fragile thing when tied to flesh. It’s wavering and fleeting when unconnected to Godly power.  When My prophets say ‘Hope in the Lord”, they give people a strong, confident admonition. To hope in the Lord is to hope in a sure thing. The Lord is our hope. He is our strong tower. He is the cord that cannot be broken; He is our lifeline. His sovereignty cannot be questioned.  His loving kindness never fails.  For a person to hope in God is to trust in His binding contract. Jesus seals the covenant.  The Holy Spirit is the guarantor. He affixes His seal; His permanent holy stamp to the covenant promise. With a guarantee like that, who can doubt the Lord?

    The word of the Lord is true and pure, holy, righteous and sure. It’s a never changing reminder of My love for you.

    Will you trust Me with all your cares? Will you trust Me to make all right?

    Daily immersion in My Word – repeated regularly – is the way to maintain peace and joy.

    Abide in Me. Then enjoy a life more abundant.

     You are standing here in order to enter into a covenant with the Lord your God, a covenant the Lord is making with you this day and sealing with an oath,  to confirm you this day as his people, that he may be your God as he promised you…

    Deuteronomy 29:12-13  NIV

    22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.

    I hear the Lord say:

    Your lament is your heartfelt cry of hope. Hope for yourself and hope for your family. Your hope is well placed, for your only hope is hope in Me. Because My love never ceases, because My mercies are new every morning,  because of My faithfulness, you can put your hope in Me. I am good to those who wait on Me, who seek Me with their whole heart. I am good and My mercy covers you as a warm blanket. Let it be a source of comfort and joy. I am sufficient for your needs. You need nothing else besides Me. Take My yoke upon you – it is light and it keeps you tethered to Me.  Together, we are a great team. I lead, you follow. I bless, you receive. I command, you obey. I make a way, you walk in it. Fix your eyes on Me, not the distractions around you.

    “Keep calm and follow Jesus.”

    21 Yet this I call to mind
        and therefore I have hope:

    22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
        for his compassions never fail.
    23 They are new every morning;
        great is your faithfulness.
    24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
        therefore I will wait for him.”

    25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
        to the one who seeks him;
    26 it is good to wait quietly
        for the salvation of the Lord.
