    I hear the Lord say:

Abide means “belonging.” You belong to Me. I am your Keeper and Protector. I dwell in you and you in Me. Our “life sap” intermingles. Our union is permanent. I am the root and the vine; you are the branch. You are grafted in and receive your life-blood from Me. You are an extension of Me as a branch is an extension from a trunk of a tree. Your branch is to bear fruit from the lifeblood I share with you.

‘“I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who stay united with me, and I with them, are the ones who bear much fruit; because apart from me you can’t do a thing. Stay united with me, as I will with you — for just as the branch can’t put forth fruit by itself apart from the vine, so you can’t bear fruit apart from me.’

    A Song of Praise

Lord, my Lord, Your goodness captivates me!

You are good and your mercy knows no end.

Your goodness falls like beams of light, and smiles like a rainbow in the sky.

It tickles like silent snowflakes on my face.

Your goodness is greater than the drops in the ocean, the stars in the sky, the sand on the beach.

Your goodness reaches further than the deepest galaxies in space, existing before time and beyond measuring.

Let Your light penetrate the dark recesses of my mind and spirit, casting off shadows of fear and doubt, illuminating me with Your truth.

Let me dance in the light of Your presence.

Let me see Your glory and bask in Your beauty.

    I hear the Lord say:

Be content in Me. Be content with Me. I am all you need.

When you feel ill at ease, in want, in lack, recall “I have Christ in Me. I have all I need.” When you have bills to pay, health concerns, family concerns, job concerns, when you are pondering the future, say “I lack nothing with Christ. He is my all-in-all.” “He will provide all my needs.”

Scripture is your best friend. The truth of My words must sink into your heart and mind so that they are bedrock: immovable and unshakable.

    Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;

Lovingkindness and truth go before You.

    I hear the Lord say:

As the fireworks burst in the night sky, so My love bursts for you. Light exploding in the darkness, piercing the night, glowing in shimmering strands. This light is My love, shining forth like a beacon, rays of hope, bright like the sun.

I’m head over heels in love with you. I’m giddy with delight. You are My shining star. My light is reflected in you. My holy Spirit is your illuminator, your sparkler, and your reservoir of truth. Let Holy Spirit be your mentor and guide.  True light, True life are yours.

Your word is a lamp to my feet

and a light to my path.

    I hear the Lord say:

Trusting in Me is the only true and steady position for an abiding life. Because of My lavish love for you, because of My affection and care, I abide in you and you in Me. This union is what gives you strength. This bond is the cord that cannot be broken. This is what gives your life meaning, joy and purpose.

As Paul remained true in chains, so too, remain true, when all around you crumbles. Paul’s unshakable faith was due to his sold-out passion for the truth of the gospel. Keep meditating on Scripture. Let it swell up and fill your heart to bursting. Joy unspeakable with rise up.

We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

    I hear the Lord say:

Old and new.  Old and New Testament. Old and new revelations. Old and new experiences. Old and new challenges. Old and new treasures.  Do not forget the challenges and victories of the past. They serve to remind you of My Goodness, My Faithfulness, My Everlasting Arms that cover and protect. Although I want you to live in the “now”, it is good to recall the past blessings to fortify your mind to expect future blessings.  I see the beginning and the end. I weave events with my holy golden thread, creating a unique and extraordinary tapestry that is your life. As each day unfolds, seek My face, abide in My presence and lean in for greater understanding.

    Matthew 13:52 AMP

He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like the head of a household, who brings out of his treasure things that are new and fresh and things that are old and familiar.”

    I hear the Lord say:

I am the Master Builder. My home, My throne, My heavens and My earth. All were fashioned by My Spirit. I breathe life into My creation. Life in the sea, in the sky, in the mountains, in the meadows, and I breathe life into you! I breathe peace. I breathe joy. I breathe vitality into your body and mind.  I breathe refreshing into your spirit. I breathe newness. As the breeze caresses your face, so My goodness fills and satisfies. My breath is wholeness; it is abundance; it is mercy; it is forgiveness; it is contentment.

Abide with Me, stay in tune with me, be immersed in Me.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

    Job 33: 4  ESV
