Hello! Welcome to my blog! I have recorded past journal entries from devotional journaling as well as nature and travel photos. It is my aim to pass on the encouragement of the Lord to other sisters in Christ.

    • Blessings

I hear the Lord say: Standing among the blooming trees in early spring, cherry blossom petals float gently through the air, transporting you to a world of awe and beauty. Forgetting the trials and tribulations of the world, you stand motionless in a shower of delicate petals. Ever so gently, ever so graciously, the ground…

    • Sailing

I hear the Lord say: Sailing brings to mind themes like freedom, wind, spirit, adventure, beauty. The wind in the sails propels you along as you guide the rudder. You feel both attentive and relaxed. The wind, water and salt spray lift your spirits. The cares of the day, the month, the year, melt away.…

    • Spring flowers

Photos by Jean Christiansen I hear the Lord say: After a cold winter, I know you love to see your spring bulbs awakening and trees starting to bud. It’s a reminder of the season of renewal and fresh beginnings. The warm air, the call of spring peepers, the blooming daffodils, forsythia, camellias and magnolias bring…

    • Bloom

I hear the Lord say: When you see this lovely amaryllis flower, you marvel at its beauty. Just a bare bulb in some soil a few weeks ago, it grew taller daily and rapidly. The final flowers are just magnificent. Let Me remind you that all of this beauty was stored in that ugly bulb.…

    • Winter walk

I hear the Lord say: I walk with you in the meadow, whispering My love for you in the stillness of the crisp morning air. The crunch of gravel under your boots, the tweets and calls of songbirds, the clear blue sky over a golden field; these alert your senses, increasing your awareness of life…
