Words & Whispers

I hear the Lord say:

Jesus said “I have the keys to the kingdom.” Think on the meaning of keys and their purpose. Keys lock and unlock doors and cabinets. Those in possession of keys have special authority. They have power to open doors and grant access to others who are less powerful. Jesus has the keys to open the doors of heaven and earth. He only allows those who are true followers to have access to His kingdom power and strength. His authority is supreme and He calls you to step in faith under His authority. You can speak His name in confidence over your life and the life of others. Jesus calls you to be bold to walk in the gifts He has bestowed on you.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
