I hear the Lord say:
As you stretch the ribbon bookmark and pull out the wrinkles, I give you opportunities to stretch and be a greater reflection of My Goodness. Like a steam iron pressing out the wrinkles of a garment, I allow heat and steam in your life to remove unwanted creases and to create a garment fashioned in My image. You are perfect because I am perfect. You can’t rub out a wrinkle with your own effort. My Holy Presence gently applies pressure in the right places to release unhealthy habits and create an environment of loving trust. Let Me continually mold you into the vessel of My choice. Think of pressure in life in a new way. Instead of fleeing it, wanting to avoid it and being exhausted from it, embrace it and see it as a growth tool.
Applied pressure is a method to create something new. Pressure in a pressure cooker creates a meal. Pressure changes rock into other forms. Pressure applied to a wound stops bleeding. Pressure is applied to remove a stain from clothes or other surfaces.
The wind blows trees and plants by pressure. You feel the wind on your face on a boat ride due to speed and pressure. Recall how the wind blowing on your face removes all the cares of the world. Let My Holy Spirit blow afresh on you today!
I press on toward the goal
for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
